Description
This twin scroll turbo is a genuine 500 bhp+ unit that fits the stock position on the Subaru engine, with power delivery and spool that go beyond what is normally expected at this level.
It is compatible with EJ20, EJ22 and EJ25 engines in twin scroll configuration. Capable of developing over 550 bhp, it spools extremely fast and reaches peak power much earlier in the rev range than comparable 500 bhp+ turbos.
It is developed to maximise power while minimising turbo lag, for road, track or competition use.
Each turbo is fitted with an uprated actuator to optimise boost control. It can be used with either the factory or an aftermarket exhaust manifold as a direct bolt-on fit, making it a strong upgrade for modified Subarus.
A high-performance Samco turbo inlet pipe made specifically for this turbocharger is available: SHO219, SHO156, SHO265 and SHO64.
