The right tools make the job easier and let it be done properly, whether dismantling and assembling components or diagnosing faults.

This cylinder leakage tester gives a good indication of the current health of any engine, and only the spark plugs need to be removed.

It shows leakage as a percentage, which helps identify whether there is internal damage and which cylinder is at fault. It also shows whether the damage is to the valves and valve seats, or to the piston, bore and piston rings, or both. This allows a rebuild plan to be put together without dismantling the engine.

A workshop compressor is required to operate the tool.
