Process West Black Billet Tumbler Generator Valve (TGV) Delete Kit 2001-2007 WRX/STI & 08+STI

Tumbler Generator Valves (TGV) are fitted to Impreza WRX, Forester Turbo and Legacy GT models from 2001 onward. Their main purpose is to reduce emissions at cold idle to meet EU emissions regulations; similar regulations exist in the US and Japan.

This does little for performance, and the sensors and motors connected to the TGV body can fail, leading to limp mode, check engine lights and the cost of replacement parts and code clearing.

The standard TGV is similar in design to a throttle body, with twin butterfly valves in each tumbler housing to control airflow. Even when fully open, these restrict the air entering the cylinder head ports and reduce performance.

This billet TGV delete kit from Process West is a simple upgrade to maximise airflow in all conditions:

• Port profile machined to suit ported heads
• O-ringed upper flange surface for a perfect seal to a stock or aftermarket plenum
• Injector ports machined so 11mm or 13mm diameter injectors seat without adaptors; use the supplied Viton O-rings as required
• Fuel rail mounting points the same as stock, so it can be used with other aftermarket fuel rails
