Process West Black Verticooler - Forester MY2008 - 2012

The Process West Verti-Cooler is a slant-mount intercooler system for the Subaru WRX 08-16 and Forester 08-12, designed around rapid charge-air cooling and an efficient flow path.

It pairs a large, free-flowing Process West core with a mounting position that places the intercooler at a 15 degree, near-vertical angle in the engine bay.

• Core: 400mm flow length x 205mm stack height x 120mm thick
• The largest core volume of any aftermarket intercooler for the WRX 08-16 and Forester 08-12

A new hood duct feeds external airflow straight onto the intercooler fins. The mounting angle then gives the heated air a shallow, low-restriction exit path: down through the engine bay and out of the underside of the car through the transmission tunnel. With the stock intercooler setup, the air has to turn through nearly 90 degrees.

The kit is complete and includes:

• Verti-Cooler intercooler body
• Matching under-hood air duct/splitter
• Specially formed silicone hoses
• High-quality constant-tension hose clamps

An optional silicone hose is available for direct fitment to traditional non-stock turbochargers.
