Stage X 4 Stage Dry Sump System EJ20/22/25

A reliable oil supply is a key concern for any Subaru EJ engine tuned for performance or race use. A dry sump system offers a level of safety and reliability that a standard, or even baffled, wet sump cannot match.

This system completely scavenges the crankcase. It greatly reduces the residual oil left in the crankcase and returns the maximum amount of oil to the tank at all times.

It delivers far more consistent oil pressure to the engine and eliminates the oil starvation issues associated with the flat-4 boxer layout. The stronger scavenge effect in the crankcase also improves ring-to-bore sealing.

This latest-generation 4 stage system combines 3 scavenge stages and 1 pressure stage in a compact layout specific to the EJ engine range. It can be installed without removing the engine from the car.

Included water pump kit

The kit includes a 2-port water pump kit with a corrosion-resistant satin black finish, designed to absorb excess heat, which is then circulated into the cooling system. A cavitation-friendly cast impeller moves the coolant around the engine with maximum flow and without unwanted aeration.

The pump also has a corrosion-resistant billet aluminium thermostat housing for smooth and efficient coolant movement.
