Stage X 400 thick-wall short engine (2.1 L), a custom-built EJ series short engine.

High-powered Subaru engines are assembled with a meticulous level of detail. The Stage X short engine range covers 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.35 and 2.5 litre in both standard and high compression configurations, so there is a solution for each power level and application.

Each engine block is carefully selected, inspected and measured before machining and assembly begin. Only Stage X engine components are used in the build, for proven performance, durability and long-term reliability.
