Stage X Dampened Oil Pickup Pipe GC8 GF8

Oil surge is a well-known issue on the Subaru flat-four layout. This dampened oil pickup is a simple and effective way to help protect EJ series engines against potential damage during spirited driving, especially on track and with sticky tyres.

It is supplied pre lock-wired to a new genuine Subaru oil pickup pipe. The suction adaptor lowers the point at which oil enters the pickup, reducing the chance of oil starvation at the pipe under heavy lateral loads in corners.

Its castellated construction lets it touch the base of the sump pan without restricting oil flow, and it also acts as a cushion or damper. If the base of the sump has been damaged, the risk of restricted oil flow into the pickup pipe is avoided.

By acting as a vibration damper, it also reduces fatigue on the OEM pickup pipe itself, further improving engine reliability.

Easy to install and compatible with all OEM pickup pipes and Stage X baffled sump kits.
