Stage X Gates Racing Timing Belt & Alloy Camshaft Pulley Upgrade Kit 99-02MY EJ20/22/25

This timing belt kit uses the same OE-grade components as when the car left the production line, and adds a Gates Racing Kevlar timing belt. Designed to withstand the stress and heat of high-horsepower or high-revving engines, these belts are 300% stronger than the original equipment, which makes them a popular choice for modified Subarus.

One weak area of the Subaru EJ series engines is the plastic Bakelite camshaft drive pulleys. Over time they become brittle and can fail, causing catastrophic internal engine damage. This kit includes Stage X aluminium camshaft pulleys to remove that risk.
