Stage X Lightweight Ancillary Pulley Kit & Fluidampr with Air Con 1992-2000 GC8/GF8

These Stage X lightweight auxiliary engine pulleys for the 1992–2000 GC8/GF8 Subaru Impreza are made from high-quality aluminium, machined with the CNC techniques used by leading Formula 1 teams, then anodised to military specification.

The weight reduction lowers the engine's rotating mass, improving acceleration and engine response.

The kit also includes a Fluidampr crank pulley. A Fluidampr viscous damper reduces wear on the main bearings and timing gear, gives more accurate valvetrain operation and lowers the risk of crank failure.

Unlike rubber-based dampers, Fluidampr adapts automatically to your modifications and continuously self-tunes in real time, giving optimum damping at peak levels and across a broad, changing frequency range. As the engine revs up, torsional vibration suspends the inertia ring and reduces its weight felt on the crankshaft. Measured as rotating weight, this helps keep revs quick while preserving optimum damping.

The kit keeps the standard pulley diameters, so the existing auxiliary drive belt can be used and the power steering and alternator speeds remain standard. Air conditioning can still be used.
