Stage X O Ringed Thermal Spacer Kit - Spec C

This kit contains everything required to install the Stage X phenolic spacers on a Subaru. It is designed for the Spec C model, which has a single-piece inlet manifold.

It helps reduce air inlet temperatures in the inlet manifold by isolating the manifold from the heat travelling through from the engine's cylinder heads. Sealing between the spacers, manifold and cylinder heads is by an integral double O-ring design, so conventional manifold gaskets are no longer required.

A cooler inlet manifold means a cooler inlet charge. Cooler air is denser than warm air, and a denser intake charge contains more oxygen, which gives the potential for increased power and torque.

The thermal spacers also create additional space under the inlet manifold for larger turbo inlet hoses and engine plumbing.
