Stage X Oil Pickup Anti Surge Adaptor

This anti-surge adaptor is part of the Stage X range of oil control products for EJ series engines.

Oil surge is a well-known issue with the Subaru flat-four layout. The adaptor is a simple but effective way to help protect the engine from potential damage during spirited driving, especially on track and with sticky tyres.

Its castellated construction allows it to touch the base of the sump pan without restricting oil flow, and also lets it act as a cushion or damper. This cushioning can help prevent the brazing on the pickup pipe from cracking or fracturing. If the base of the sump has been damaged, the risk of restricted oil flow into the pickup pipe is removed.

Easy to install and compatible with all OEM pickup pipes, it is a cost-effective way to protect the engine against an expensive repair.
