Stage X RHD Oil Catch Tank 2001-2007

Stage X oil catch tank made specifically for Impreza Turbo models, 2001-2007.

On a standard engine, oil vapour from the crankcase and cylinder heads is usually recycled back through the air intake system. Over time, the intake hoses, turbo, intercooler and connecting pipework can build up oil, which slows air flow, reduces cooling ability and causes general wear.

A catch tank vents the excess engine vapour into a separate tank, where the oil is separated from the damp air. The oil is then returned directly to the sump or left to collect in the separator tank. This keeps the engine's breathing system clean and free of oil residue, and is especially useful on high-performance or tuned engines, where dense oil vapour can hurt performance.

Unlike universal tanks, Stage X tanks are made specifically for the Impreza, for easy, straightforward installation and a factory look.

This part is the tank only. It is intended for those who want to use their own oil breather lines and fittings.
