Stage X Silver Billet Aluminium Oil Separator Cover Kit

This billet oil separator cover guards against future oil leaks and suits any engine build.

Over the years Subaru made oil separator covers from different materials: cast aluminium, plastic and pressed steel. Many of the later designs were made to save cost and eventually led to oil leaks, visible between the engine block and the gearbox bell housing. In extreme cases the escaping oil can reach the clutch plate, which means removing the gearbox to fix the leak and fitting a new clutch kit, possibly long before it is due.

An engine is ideally built only once, so common faults and weak points are worth dealing with before they appear. This cover is based on the genuine part, but with greater material thickness and an improved design. With adequate sealer and the correct torque, leaks from the rear oil cover can be eliminated.
