Stage X Subaru GC8 1992-2000 & GRB/GVB/VAF 2008+Billet R180 Rear Cover Kit

This anodised billet R180 rear differential cover is made with the latest CNC techniques and holds 25% more oil than the standard OEM part. The extra oil volume helps dissipate heat and extends LSD and transmission component life under the sustained loads of high-powered street and motorsport use.

The cooling fins help shed excess heat and manage transmission temperatures.

Large M20 drain and fill ports allow quick oil filling and draining. An additional M16 port can take a diff temperature sensor, or be used for extra plumbing when an external oil cooler is installed.

Compatible with GC8 (1992-2000) and GRB/GVB/VAF (2008+) models fitted with R180 rear differential carriers. Will not fit R160.

Optional magnetic sump plug

A high-intensity magnetic sump plug from Gold Plug is available as an optional upgrade. It has a 303 stainless steel body housing an N45SH neodymium magnet, the strongest and highest-temperature grade available. The magnet collects swarf and wear particles, which are abrasive and can damage the crown wheel and pinion and the differential unit, and holds them firmly, unaffected by temperature changes, until the oil is changed.
