STI Timing Belt Kit & Stage X Alloy Camshaft Pulley Upgrade Kit 2002+MY EJ20/22/25

Timing belt kit with alloy camshaft pulley upgrade for EJ20/22/25 engines, 1999-2002 model years, put together by Stage X.

The timing belt kit uses exactly the same components as when the car left the production line, but also includes the high-performance Kevlar timing belt from the STI Sports Parts range. This belt is designed to withstand the stress and heat found in high-horsepower or high-revving engines.

One weak area on Subaru EJ series engines is the plastic Bakelite camshaft drive pulleys. Over time they become brittle and eventually fail, causing catastrophic failure and internal engine damage. This kit includes Stage X camshaft pulleys made from aluminium to remove that weak point.
