Description
Subaru double bearing small idler upgrade kit for 1999+ models.
From 1999 Subaru added an extra small smooth idler to help control the "flap" of the timing belt on the left-hand bank. It had a single bearing inside the running surface sleeve. In 2002 the part was uprated to two bearings, making it more robust, durable and reliable.
This kit is an upgrade part and can be fitted to vehicles that had the single-bearing idler as standard.
Caution: the bolt supplied in the kit must be used, as it is longer than the bolt used with the single-bearing idler.
