Subaru STi Spec C Anti Surge Fuel Pump Assembly

The Subaru Impreza fuel tank design has a weakness, particularly with less than half a tank of fuel. Under hard cornering and spirited driving, fuel can move around the tank and away from the fuel pump, causing fuel surge. This happens when the pump sucks in air because it is no longer submerged in fuel, resulting in a fuel cut that immediately cuts engine power. With the higher grip and G forces of track cars, the problem is even more pronounced as the engine is starved of fuel.

Subaru overcame this design problem on the Spec C model with this redesigned fuel pump assembly.

The housing helps keep the sock submerged in fuel, maintaining a steady flow and preventing fuelling issues.

A direct fit for all 2001-2007 Impreza models, and it can be retrofitted to earlier GC8 models.
